Huge thanks to everyone who made A Moore Park Beach Christmas such a success..despite the rain!
Moore Park Beach Rural Fire Service and Santa, for bringing joy to so many people. Staging Solutions – thanks Glenn, Ash and team for bringing your amazing outdoor sound system inside and being so great to work with. Our incredible sponsors – Moore Park Beach Community Association (who not only financially supported us, but who also ran the Ham Wheel, decorated the hall and provided other volunteers); Moore Park Beach Tavern (who sponsored the Fireworks); Moore Park Beach Pharmacy (who sponsored the Christmas Choir); The Pink House; Stephen Bennett and Battery World Bundaberg – your support means the world to us. Our entertainers – Dani Robert, Amy Alice, Short Straws, Redhead Productions and 2EZ. Wow – you were even better inside than out on the big stage! Our Moore Park Beach Christmas Choir – community members and students from Moore Park Beach and Woongarra State Schools and led by musical maestro Mrs Kathy Cavanagh – for singing your hearts out and bringing so much joy. Light ‘Em Up Fireworks – for putting on an incredible fireworks even in the rain! Our raffle prize donors who gave us so many amazing prizes to make 3 huge hampers (won by Kerry, Sue and Caroline – we’ll be in touch!). Our incredible volunteers – who worked so hard, often in trying circumstances, but always with a smile on their faces. Our stall holders and food and drinks vendors who braved the rain and added so much value to the day. (Congratulations to our Best Decorated Stall winner CJ’s Current Obsessions for being extra Christmassy!). Best Medics first aid team (who thankfully had a quiet night). And last, but certainly not least, to everyone who came along. To see your smiles, your voices, your dancing and your thanks made it all worthwhile.
Thank you!!! Each and every one of you has shown us that the spirit of Christmas is well and truly alive in Moore Park Beach!
